Why this site exists

Essex rewards some planning. The Colne Valley, Uttlesford, the Tendring coast, Dedham Vale, and the Blackwater Estuary are all very different places, and a stay in one looks nothing like a stay in another. A week on the coast at Frinton is not the same as a weekend in rural Thaxted.
